The ProGrad Process
ProGrad have a comprehensive assessment and selection process prior to placement. This is to ensure that our candidates have been assessed for the key competencies required by the ProGrad Client organisations. We are working on behalf of hundreds of organisations to source candidates who are looking for a career in business to business sales and marketing.
Experience is not necessary to be selected by ProGrad. Equally, our process is not about your degree. It is about you as an individual.
Once we have received your initial application, the ProGrad Graduate Management Team will be in touch to discuss the opportunities available. We receive hundreds of applications each week, and our Graduate Management Team at ProGrad are responsible for filtering the applications initially through a telephone interview to ensure candidates have the right communication skills to be successful in our positions. If successful in the telephone interview, candidates will be asked to attend a ProGrad Assessment Day.
We hold our Sydney Assessment Days on a weekly basis as our client demand is far greater in this location. Each candidate will attend a ProGrad Assessment Day over several hours and be assessed against a competency based assessment framework that has been proven to highlight successful people.
If you are successful at the Assessment Day, you will be advised at the end of the session. Once selected as a ProGrad candidate, we start to make introductions to a variety of roles and companies based on the needs of our clients and the requirements of our candidates. Where possible, we will aim to organise interviews within several days of attending a ProGrad Assessment Day.
If you find a role through ProGrad which you are offered and wish to accept, you will commence full time employment with that business. Over the first year of employment, ProGrad then provide structured training to ensure your success. You will receive 9 days of Business to Business Sales Training with ProGrad which is all funded by your employer, and simply facilitated by us. We want to ensure your success within your first role and feel that this corporate training is an essential part of that.
Salaries will vary depending on the individual, the company, the role and the experience you have. For the most part, roles through ProGrad will pay a base salary of $35k – $50k + super. Most organisations we work with will also introduce a bonus/ incentive plan to further promote your success.
We are proud to represent hundreds of organisations in Australia across a variety of industries to include Technology, Media, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Finance and Events. If you would like to speak to any of the Graduate Management Team to discuss opportunities, please call the office on 02 8235 8300.
